  • Engineering for age 13-15

    Are you interested in how to build the bridge while you were young?   This is the right course for you.  Come to learn basic concepts and theories, explore and try your imagination for a future career.  You never know, you might be the next Isambard Kindgdom Brunel who first disigned Clifton Suspension Bridge at Bristal.


    The two weeks course cover -

    A.  1st Week

    -  Introduction, elementary Physics, Scalars and Vectors (knowledge refresher)

    -  Elementary, Mathematics, probability, Progression, series (knowledge refresher)

    -  Spaghetti tower

    -  Assessing mechanical motion in everyday life

    -  Concept of stress, strain, problem solving lesson

    -  Field trip / Guest speaker

    -  Analysis of bridges, dams and buildings

    -  Analysis of beam deformation

    -  Design contest (proposals and feedback)

    B. 2nd Week

    -  Electrical Engineering refresher (Ohm's law, circuit symbols)
